Serial egg collector gets ASBO for crimes against nature.

Matthew Gonshaw, a serial egg collector, of Bow, London, has become the first person in England to receive an Anti-Social Behaviour Order [ASBO] for crimes against nature.

He is not allowed to visit Scotland or any of the RSPB and Wildlife Trust Lands for the next ten years. He could receive a £20,000 fine and a five-year jail term for breaking the conditions of the ASBO.

Gonshaw is currently serving his fourth prison sentence for egg collecting and currently holds the record in the UK for the person who has spent the most time in prison for these crimes.

He has plundered hundreds of birds' nests including some of the rarest birds in the UK, such as Golden Eagle, Osprey, Avocet, Red Kite and Peregrine Falcon.
