Mopane Bush Lodge is a tranquil bush retreat with attentive personal service at affordable rates. Ideally located for visits to Mapungubwe National Park and the ancient Kingdom of Mapungubwe (a world heritage site). Mopane Bush Lodge nestles in the Mopane Bushveld on our private 6000ha nature reserve.

Mopane Bush Lodge offers luxury fully catered accommodation, in eight secluded twin bedded en-suite thatched chalets. One wheelchair friendly, each within its own kraal incorporating an outdoor shower. Delicious meals simply prepared are served in our spacious dining room, in the boma around a fire under the stars, in the lapa around the pool or in the bush. The comfortable lounge, with small library, provides the ideal retreat for those leisurely moments.

We arrange guided tours to the following attractions; Mapungubwe National Park, the ancient Kingdom of Mapungubwe, San Rock art, specialized predator tracking and birding safaris including a significant wetland. Activities on the nature reserve included in the rate include bush drives, game tracking, walking, birding and cycling in a safe environment with the option of a guide.
