Lionsrock is situated in the beautiful Eastern Free State. Being home to
a diverse range of wildlife and predators makes it an ideal destination
for wildlife enthusiasts.
Lionsrock Big Cat Sanctuary, focuses
primarily on big cats who were bred in captivity and subjected to
negligent and unnatural conditions.
Home to several pride of
lions, two leopards, a Bengal tiger and other wild cats, Lionsrock is a
shining example of the need sanctuaries in South Africa.
A
fascinating range of fauna and flora can be found in the park. Safe from
their natural enemies, wildebeests, zebras, waterbuck and a range of
antelope species populate the area.
Many plant species and
birdlife, which comes in iridescent diversity including rare species,
have found a home at Lionsrock, offering splendid opportunities for
bird watching!
Accommodation
Rooms are equipped with fireplaces for cold winter nights.

2 Bedrooms, (one with double bed, one with 2 single beds), bathroom
with shower. Standard kitchen with open plan lounge area, fire-place
and small private patio. Braai facilities on request.
